| Cathy Anfiteatro From the time Cathy was eighteen years old, she was fascinated by midwifery and aspired to become a midwife. After having children of her own, her life’s journey brought her back to her “center” and she became a Reiki Practitioner and labor support doula. She completed the package by earning her yoga certification. When attending births, Cathy says her labor clients really benefit from her incorporation of Reiki to help balance their energy. It almost goes without saying that the benefits of yoga’s breathing techniques and postures can help ease the discomfort associated with labor. Cathy, having two extremely unique and opposite birth experiences believes she has the wisdom to help make birth for others, a more positive and memorable experience.
