| CRISTINA COCO 917-796-6886
I think my background in fashion prepared me for my current job. I know that sounds a bit off, but living in a world where everything is perfect and clean and in it's place made me want to go to the completely other side of the spectrum. This combined with a passion for photography - photographing kids is a perfect fit.
My work is far from classic portraits. I like things a little messy. Hair out of place, missing teeth, shirt tails untucked, kids smiling or (gasp!) not smiling. Real life clothes or dress up with funny hats and scarves. Sometimes a little moody. These are the things that say childhood to me - these are the memories I want of my son, the faces that I see every day to remind me of what he was really like as a child. Images that remind me how he melts my heart.
